I’m LisaBeth Weber. Artist, Writer, Musician, Thinker.

My mission while I’m here on this earth is to make a difference. I do that through a myriad of channels….some in front of the scenes, some behind the scenes. The very latest is that I was selected as an artist from my district (PA’s 8th Congressional) to create an ornament for the 2008 WHITE HOUSE CHRISTMAS TREE. I received a call over the summer from Congressman Patrick Murphy’s office inviting me to participate. The theme was to represent our district in the American Spirit. This was easy, and right away I thought of Green Energy, because of all the Green Energy manufacturing that has been developed here in Bucks County. I was honored to participate and took the project very seriously, from a historic point of view, as well as representing my district and the hard work that Patrick Murphy has been doing on behalf of all the constituents, regardless of party. All of the artists were invited to the White House for a holiday reception, and it was most exciting.

In somewhat of a nutshell….

ARTWISE…..I design and handmake PINS FOR CAUSES. They’re kinda well known in some circles and have been worn by the likes of HILLARY CLINTON, GLORIA STEINEM, ELIZABETH EDWARDS, MIA FARROW, my mom and dad, and gobs of happy customers across the spectrum including the good folks at NOW (NATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR WOMEN), PLANNED PARENTHOOD, BLACK WOMEN’S HEALTH IMPERATIVE, THE NATIONAL BREAST CANCER COALITION, and lots more. They’ve been spotted far and wide in many countries as people feel that wearing one of my pins is like wearing a “SPOKES PIN” for the way they feel about a cause. And they tell me they look cool too. They’re unique, and stand apart from the standard looking pins.

I also do custom hand lettering. I’ve got a font that was one of the happiest times in my life to create. It’s called ITC weberhand, (yup, THAT ITC) and you can find it at www.fonts.com

My latest thing has been ART-PRINTS, framed pieces featuring hand lettered quotes over watercolor background. The quotes are mostly by historical and living figures and I call the prints, “RELEVANT QUOTES OF THE TIMES”.

WRITING-WISE….I’m a freelance writer, copywriter, songwriter, and writer of lotsa prose, silliness, seriousness, and otherness. I’ve had articles published in national magazines like PERFORMING SONGWRITER and PC SOLUTIONS. I’ve also written articles for websites such as reviews of the SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL for the COUNTY THEATER website in Doylestown, PA.

MUSIC-WISE……I’m a singer/songwriter and I’ve played lots of venues across the country, been on lots of radio shows, written lots of songs, and have 4 CD’s available. I’ve opened for over 60 national acts including NANCI GRIFFITH, DAVE GRISMAN, RALPH STANLEY, ROY CLARK, ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL, SUSAN WERNER, JOHN GORKA, MARTIN SEXTON, and a gazillion others.

The latest release, THE FIRE TOWER SESSIONS, is an assortment of songs ranging from the state of the world to the state of grace, It was Produced and Engineered by Grammy music-maker BIL VORNDICK (Ralph Stanley, Bela Fleck, Bob Dylan, Alison Krauss), and presents an exciting array of tunes…some old-timey-ish, some new, one borrowed and some bluegrassy.
